14 June 2021
Following today’s government announcement to postpone lockdown easing measures in England until 19 July, we would like to confirm that The Northern Aldborough Festival will proceed as planned on 21 June.
Of course we want to prioritise the safety and comfort of our audience and performers and would like to reassure you that we will be following Public Health England guidelines closely. As a result there may be some small changes to the way the Festival is run this year but nothing you’re not familiar with by now.
First, please don’t join us if you or anyone in your household has had a positive COVID-19 test or any symptoms in the last 10 days.
- NHS Test and Trace – on arrival you’ll be asked to scan our QR code or complete one of our NHS Test and Trace cards, including a name and telephone number for every member of your party. It’s a Government requirement that every visitor comply with this tracing system and The Northern Aldborough Festival may have to refuse entry to those who don’t supply the necessary information.
- One-way system and social distancing – social distancing measures will be in place throughout your visit, please respect the guidance of our stewards who will direct you accordingly.
- Face masks – it is compulsory that you wear a face mask indoors, including as you enter and exit the church and for the duration of the performance. Those failing to do so will not be admitted to the event.
- Sanitisation and cleaning – there will be hand sanitising stations available at the entrance of the church for your use and the church will be deep cleaned by our staff between each performance.
Above all else we are delighted you will be able to join us and share these wonderful live musical experiences with us. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
