Welcome to the exciting launch of a brand-new annual vocal competition of national significance. From its inception, the Northern Aldborough Festival has striven to support and nurture young musical talent and now, with the generous support of anonymous donors, the Festival is able to launch a competition like no other. New Voices aims to find the finest classical voices in the UK today, whether soloists or small ensembles. Open to new up-and-coming talent, the top prize is £5000, with £1500 for the runner-up, creating concert opportunities for the finalists in Festivals across the UK.
