New Voices Singing Competition 2023

The Northern Aldborough Festival is delighted to announce the launch of a major new competition for singers, The New Voices Singing Competition.

With a prize fund of £7000, distinguished judging panel and performance opportunities at leading UK music festivals, the Competition is open to soloists, duos or even ensembles of up to 8 participants, providing the principal focus of the group is singing and all participants are UK nationals or residents.  Financial support of £100 is available to all semi-finalist entrants (one award of £100 for each semi-final entry).

THE PRIZES
1st Prize – The Seastock Trust Prize: £5000 Cash Award
2nd Prize – The Yorkshire Music Future Fund Prize: £1500 Cash Award
The Audience Prize – £500 Cash Award

Application Deadline: Friday 14th April 2023
Successful Applicants Notified: Week commencing Tuesday 2nd May 2023
Semi-Finals in Aldborough: Tuesday 20th June 2023
Grand Final and Closing Party in Aldborough: Wednesday 21st June 2023
