One of the world’s great violin virtuosos promises an unmissable evening in the intimate setting of St Andrew’s Church.
A graduate of the Moscow Conservatoire, Viktoria’s extraordinary talent captured the world in the 1980s before her much-publicised defection to the West. Renowned as a violinist of exceptional versality and musical integrity, she will perform a stunning programme of Beethoven and Schubert with the Scottish pianist, Alasdair Beatson.
During their three-year collaboration, they have released three recordings featuring Beethoven and Schubert; Alasdair is renowned as a sincere musician and intrepid programmer.
