To celebrate the 25th Festival, the UK’s finest chamber orchestra performs a sumptuous programme of Mozart with appearances by two popular soloists making welcome returns to the Festival.
Harrogate-born violinist William Dutton’s rich tone and mature musicianship will be witnessed in Mozart’s Violin Concerto no. 5 ‘The Turkish’, and soprano Bibi Heal’s glorious voice will grace some of his most beautiful operatic arias including ‘Dove Sono’ from the Marriage of Figaro and ‘Batti, Batti’ from Don Giovanni.
‘Bold presence on stage and ambitious repertoire.’
