The Northern Aldborough Festival closes in style with the UK’s no. 1 tribute to Sting and The Police, in the stunning grounds of Aldborough Manor. Guests are free to picnic in the grounds and watch the entertainment on the main stage. The evening is capped with a spectacular orchestrated firework display.
The Police were arguably the hottest group on the planet during their short career (1977 – 1983). Who can forget the classics Every Breath You Take, Message In A Bottle, Walking On The Moon, Can’t Stand Losing You and So Lonely? The Rozzers recreate every nuance of the Police’s live show, delivering all these hits, along with much of Sting’s enviable solo catalogue (Fields of Gold) with incredible authenticity.
Opening for this world beating tribute is one of the most entertaining acts you will see all year – Cambridge’s So 80s. Armed with a keyboard, two microphones, a light show and a killer backing track they tackle a dizzying variety of 80s repertoire, some of it extremely unexpected, complete with high energy dance moves!
