The talented mezzo soprano Chloe Latchmore hails from North Yorkshire, and began her studies at Queen Mary’s School, where she was Head Chorister. Fast forward several years, and she is now a rising star at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she recently debuted in the role of Mère Marie for the Guildhall School’s production of Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, and as Carmen in the Peter Brook version for Popup Opera. She recently joined the chorus of Glyndebourne Festival Opera for Handel’s Saul and Giulio Cesare.
The programme will include a performance of Haydn’s stunning Italian cantata Arianna a Naxos.
‘This was an utterly convincing vocal and dramatic performance.’
‘Chloe Latchmore’s performance here proved quite mesmerising, whether in vocal terms or stage-presence.’
